Recent and Upcoming Events

My solo show of my artworks at the Vermont Supreme Court Gallery in Montpelier, Vermont was held July 6 to end of September , 2022.

My collaboration, “Interspace” with Danny Sagan was presented as part of the International exhibition Art Prospect, Oct 15-18, 2020. Ohttps://www.artprospect.org/art-prospect-2020

For this installation, we made video of surfaces and objects in our home and projected this onto a series of connected tetrahedral forms and triangular fabric surfaces, located on the porch of our house.

The triangular fabric surfaces of the installation amplify and fragment the images from within the dwelling. We organize the sequence of objects in a loose chronology that follows our engagements with the spaces of our home throughout the day.

In any period, particularly in the age of pandemic and social distancing, the front porch serves as an interface between the private realm of an individual or family and their community. It is the space of dialogue between the private and the public.

In 2019 I completed ”Job Site”, an installation created with Bill Ferehawk. We examine the beauty and movement embedded in wood frame construction and its processes. This work integrates works on paper, fabric, wood frame construction and video and will be exhibited at Burlington City Arts June 21 - October 6 2019. Opening Friday June 21st, 5-7pm, 135 Church St, Burlington VT

NOTE: On September 24th, a Tuesday, at 6pm, Tom Toner performed “Nails and Dreams” in the space of our installation “Job Site”. This new composition for percussion was written by composer Erik Nielsen as a paralell work to “Job Site”, and focuses on related themes.
